Daniel C. Matt is a Kabbalah scholar and professor at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. He received Ph.D. from the Brandeis University and taught at Stanford University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Matt is best known for his work translating the book of Zohar into English.
